Your dirt and side-grass textures fail and don't tile correctly. Your side-grass texture should look like your dirt texture with the grass blades layered overtop.
That's not a glitch. there's a side grass tile other than the one you showed, it's down a few and right a few. next to the wild grass sprite.
Change that and it'll be fine.
So Ive discovered a weird glitch while looking at my textures for 1.8

There is an other texture for the side of the grass a bit lower and a bit more to the right
