Hey guys, I've been working on a texture pack for the last little while in prep. for 1.8, and it's called Ricky-Craft!
It's not spectacular and it's not supposed to be. I basically took all of the textures and image files from the minecraft.jar file and "swept' them up. In Ricky-Craft all of the textures are extremely simple. Their design is similar to the originals but now they look a lot more "cartoony". There are a TON of this kind of texture pack, but as far as I know, mine is the only one that has edited all of the textures! For instance, the items, GUI, mobs, title, backdrop, HUD, particles, terrain, environment, armour, and achievements are complete! as far as I know the only thing that I haven't edited are the paintings, fire, portals, lava, and water (of the last 4 I don't know how). As for the paintings, I am still coming up with ideas for them! So far I have a TV screen, a computer screen, a mirror, and some other special paintings but I want to have them all done before I release them.
One more thing: I originally created this texture pack for my own use, but I figured I shouldn't be selfish so I decided to share my work with you. I put a lot of effort into this so I will accept criticism seriously. Anything you don't like or something that sticks out of line you can tell me about in the comments or by email! I personally really like my work. I find it hard to switch back to the normal textures. I hope you guys like it as much as I do!
Also I'm clueless on how to post images on here, I want to make a video but I need to figure that out too!
