I am wanting to make a new texture pack. I get ideas in my head. Lots of them. But they require great amounts of time, and what if it doesn't get any good or popular? I don't have unlimited time. It feels like I have used up my "Popular texture pack-ticket" for some reason. I need motivation.

Medieval builder and texture artists. Also totally awesome.
I have an idea, high tech texture pack, basically technology related texture pack.
Like for example making tunnels look Hi-Tech.
EDIT:
If you don't like the idea i got another solution.
Just build!,start building something and think of what you want it to look like and i can guarantee that it won't come out the way you want it because of the textures and thus you might get an idea on what texturepack you want to make.
Probably not the best solution but it's one of em.
Need more space for my sig and if i helped you then be sure to press the green + button near the right corner of my post,it's like saying thanks but better :D.

I don't need inspiration, I need motivation. Texturing takes time, and Darkening took me months. I am worried it might not be worth the time spent.

In reality, you should do something that:
a) you enjoy
B ) you gain satisfaction from (aka you use it yourself)
c) you are 'passionate' about
Once you start doing things to feed off of praise from other people, you'll lose the true reason as to why you started, and will gain no satisfaction from it at all (unless you're getting a paycheck from it).
I'm not a 'popular texture artist' but I am an artist anyway.
As for topics, find something you are interested in (If you're not interested, it will get scrapped) - find an artist, find an era, find a style, a theme, and make a texture pack based off of that principle idea.
If you're going for a new pack, make sure you're having fun doing it! Darkening is an amazing texture pack, and I'd love to see another pack from you! Please, I'd love seeing some new stuff! :happy.gif:
