this great texture pack is perfect for those who love cartoon graphics, I have tried my best with making this texture pack, as it's my first. I hope you enjoy!
No offense but this is awful but if this is your first texture i hope you carry on but try something more detailed to begin with and you will get much better! :smile.gif:

Leave the guy alone seriously its his first texture pack I like to see half of you trolls make better, its good for a first but its cell shaded (one shade) I'd like to see it a little bit more detailed but I like it for your creativity don't listen to the trolls and haters, keep it up.
First isn't an excuse for bad. Saying it's great for a first pack doesn't help worth **** to help improve. The borders, simplification of textures, flattening, all that horrid stuff has been seen a million times. The TP forums DESPISE simple packs like these.

Trolls? Haters? Ahahaha, NO. Maybe if YOU had made YOUR own texture pack, you'd see how horrible it is to have a pack you put hours, days, even months in to, just to have it knocked down by every joke pack, every simple pack, every xray pack! It sucks! I update my texture pack almost daily and I'm lucky to get a single post. It's not fun to have your hard work completely ignored.

The only thing I have against it is that it isn't that unique. We have thousands of simple packs and there is no need or more. Also it doesn't require any talent to make one. (keep it up though, I don't want the forums to lose an artist)
And read what I just said. My first pack got almost 3700 downloads. Proof (It's my first released texture pack, but I used to modify textures a bit before that)

Hey, don't get discouraged. But take a little bit of what everyone is saying and put it to use. Although at first it is hard to hear criticism, it's only going to help you improve. It's all well and good to ignore the flaming, but don't let that make you ignore the helpful advice too.
You're getting so much hate because this idea has been done before. It's hard to come up with something unique.
I'd recommend something - for the ores, instead of keeping the same shape, try something different. Stars, maybe? Recolouring, no matter how drastic, is still easy.
Making a texture pack requires effort, no matter how simple the outcome looks. But you just need to put that little bit more into it to really make it special.

That's kind of the right attitude, haha.
Have a look at Derek Yu's pixel art tutorial. although it is not directly related to textures, it will familiarise you with terms and give you a bunch of tips you can apply (note, not copy) to your texture packs.
Ima try my best to be nice, I understand how this is your first and textures are kinda the same as many others, but if you take some time to work on it it will get better, do lots of textures for yourself, never release them(unless they are REALLY good) until you have decent skills in pixel art then come back with another pack. My pack took time but it hasn't been updated lately and looks like crap cuz it was my first and I'm working on packs that are way better. So yeah, pretty pretty please don't make more packs like this.
