Another Huge update, the new snapshots are really a lot different than 1.3.2 so I uploaded 2 different versions for compatibility Reasons.
MCpatcher could be buggy for you, I have been getting black screens, and slow performance with it lately.
Make sure you have your patched Minecraft working with default Textures before you install the pack. As it is a problem with the patcher.
I've found MCpatcher 2.4.2_03 to work best with the current snapshot 12w38b and 1.3.2, for 1.3.2 for some reason unless I uncheck Custom colors I also get the black screen even with default Textures.
Hope you enjoy the new version, Please report any bugs with the pack besides the MCpatcher black screen bug.
I didn't get any more mobs in this release as there were too many other things to update, I will get to some more of them for the official 1.4 release.

I have been using your texture pack since shortly after starting my Minecraft experience. I have always loved your textures and felt that they were a great representation of what I felt the default vanilla textures would be, if they had targeted an HD audience.
However, with the last few updates, the pack has taken on a much more "cartoonish" nature, with the smoothing out of the textures. Specifically smoothstone, and planks. (as well as the new ingot and food icons) I forced myself to play on the latest pack for about 20+ hours, hoping that I would become accustomed to it, but I was not able to adjust.
I eventually reverted back to 1.3.1, which is the last update my OCD can tollerate before the changes.
I have to say... If this change in direction is a permanent one, I'm probably going to find a new pack as my default. Any chance you could keep the 1.3.1 version around, and simply add only the items that are new for 1.4 going forward? I suspect a simple "layer" containing new items, in your master image, would pretty simple to facilitate that...
If possible, can you or someone that sees this message make mod support for this texture pack? (preferably mod support for Railcraft, but if you are going to make mod support, i would make it for the most suggested mods)
Thanks for your consideration.

Do you even think this texture pack is good? Well.. YES! BEST TEXTURE PACK EVER! KEEP THE GOOD WORK DUDE!!!!! 12W40A WAITING BRO
Bro hoof /)
As far as I know the pack should still be working with the latest snapshot, there might be a few oddities here and there but all in all it should be fine.
I think this is just about the best texture pack out there, and I love it all the way. However, using this pack in 64x64, I get 14 fps, compared well above 40 fps when using Misas. I have no idea why it is so, but would love to find out. Both packs are 64 px, and both use ctm and randommobs.
I like this texture pack. I use 128x edition with optifine.
However, the grass side textures are weired. Many of grass blocks' side is just brown dirt with black grass outline but no green grass.
I copied the green top part of grass side texture (tile 3) from terrain.png and overwrite top part of grass side textures in ctm.png (tiles 88-91 104-107 120-123 136-139). It now looks better.
edit: It looks better -- but only in some biome.
The grass side I copied does not change color with biome. I will try again with different source tile.
edit: Now I know that I just have to replace them with transparent, all the top part of grass side is now the same color with the top side.
I found the source of the performance problem: The sky is for some reason very resource intensive, and replacing it with Misas sky made the two packs par in performance. Other than that, loving the pack

Yes I have noticed that the sky is the fps killer, honestly I'm not sure why there is a difference when you switched to misa's all of my config files are based on hers and my textures are the same resolution. I'm guessing it's the cloud texture which I considered lowering the resolution on anyway because it is so far away anyway you can't really see much difference.
My suggestion is to try this, add the sky0 folder from the 128x verison of MCE into the 256X one, or at least the cloud textures from the folder and see if that helps.
Will you be texturing the anvil in the latest snapshot soon? Have some ideas for using it in creative mode building..
I'm extremely hesistant to add any new item in a snapshot because of how many times they have changed the beacon, I'm going to wait one more snapshot and then see if it sticks.
makes sense since it appears like they changed it again with 12W41b versus a. Especially with hand drawn textures. I wonder how the BDcraft folks had the anvil already in the texture from weeks ago? Does Mojang release a secret list of items to developers ahead of schedule? I logged in with 12W41a and b and the anvil was there in Bdcraft, bizarre, even though the version was weeks old.

Misa's is the only other pack I use and she doesn't have a texture for it either. Is odd that BDcraft has one already.
Do you think if possible, you can have an alternates.png for those of us who want alternate textures.
Like, for example, you could put a texture of wood logs that look much more like vanilla.
Don't be offended or anything, i just wanted to throw the idea out there.
Nice pack! I've been using a 256 pack with very realistic textures for years so I was hesitant to try this out. I'm surprised at how quickly it stuck on me. It feels very close to vanilla in style but polishes out some of the pixelation at higher resolutions. Plus it is staying updated fairly often. +1
Still love the pack, though I'm having a weird issue with the CTM. Everything but glass and the bookshelves work. Ever since the 1.3 update, I haven't been able to use CTM correctly. Has anyone else had this issue, or is it just my computer? 1.2.5 worked fine, but now it's not.
Any ideas?
