I need Help I have the Dokucraft Light,High, and Dark texture packs,
They for some reason I dont know why make the water and lava weird, it says on them "Noob use the patcher" I have used the patcher correctly but when I open minecraft to play it still has the writing on water and lava.
a screeny would help mr noob, i would trust you without one if you had a whole lot more post like me

And yes, as Mr. Troll says, you have to select "custom water and lava" in order for it to work.
Also, if you're using 1.7.3, Optifine has custom water and lava as well. It also increases your framerate by a ton.
Are you sure you patched it correctly? Ensure you are using the correct version of the patcher, and also ensure that you do actually press the "PATCH" button. I do recommend force updating Minecraft, too, since that will get rid of anything conflicting with it. I may also add that the Dokucraft pack you are using doesn't have 1.8 textures, as you can see, the hunger and XP bar are missing. That could be problematic.

Ps. I just did patch it again and used the custom lava and water and its still not working
