What's my point? There are many GOOD fantasy or RPG or related texture packs in all the other normal resolutions, except 128x. We have some very good ones, Sphax, Kayne, LB obviously...but none are really fantasy/RPG themed (comic and realistic respectively). Especially not with the hand-drawn feel of many of the packs listed above.
So, if you're a good artist looking to make a texture pack for Minecraft, may I suggest you tap into the as-of-yet untapped fantasy/RPG world of 128x texture packs. I think it would truly be epic to have a professional artist, along the lines of the ones noted above, do a themed, fantasy/RPG pack for 128x. I think it's the missing ingredient to 128x, and it would make all the (ignorant) people who usually say that 128x+ is just uber-realistic packs truly change the way they see 128x and above.
Just a thought, and a hope...
(P.S.) There are many other good packs in the resolutions listed above, so I apologize if someone felt left out. I just tried to use 2 (the 2 top downloaded ones) per field. Likewise, if there's some hidden kick-butt 128x fantasy pack that I don't know about, PLEASE DO TELL. :smile.gif:
