The new glowstone is great! I love loops! I love that you never re-use blocks. A lot of packs do that, but you always have new ways to use your themes. Honestly I like both of the glowstone blocks, but having the choice is nice =) I do like the new cobble, I feel it doesn't mesh well with the planks though when they're together. I guess no cobble and planks do though... One other thing. Your stone slabs are very classy! You are a master of shading. I love what you've done, not only because it looks good, but because it's new and I've never seen anyone shade like that before. Great pack and I can't wait for the download to be posted =]
I improved the glowstone I posted above and the mossy cobble, but I cannot post them tonight as I have a lot of work due tomorrow and I'd prefer to post when I have more to share.
I hope to release an incomplete version sometime in the next week. I will be asking lithiumsound if I can use some of his textures as placeholders.
Dirt looks familiar... Like Summerfields dirt :smile.gif:
Sorry, I read the topic and found that Lithiumsound gave you a credit :wink.gif:
Continue working on it, i want to see it in action!
Yes, Lithiumsound gave permission to use the dirt and grass, but since they're the most common blocks in Minecraft I'm going to try having my own versions done over the weekend so I can release it.
I just need to use his more obscure blocks like note blocks and mushrooms as filler while I make my own (I need to ask).
Wow this texture pack looks pretty cool even for a WIP, and I see you've done textures for a mod I think? That's a good idea, it'll bring more people.Bookmarked :smile.gif:
P.S - After you've released the texture pack (when it's 1.0) will you take mod compatibility suggestions? Just wondering :tongue.gif:
Thanks for the support :smile.gif:
I'm not sure about the mod suggestions. I have a very long way to go to finish my 'standard' textures. However, it's always a possibility.
Bump of defiance!
New glowstone concept!
I'm going to mess with the shading a bit more to make the pattern seem more engraved.
Thank you. I can't help but feel that the design should be simpler. I prefer your current glowstone, but definitely include this as an alternate.
I will include both on the terrain PNG, for sure. The new glowstone is saved in layers too, so I can change the pattern to whatever I feel like.
...
A wild update appears!
DMc used overlay on stone! It's super effective!
Goodbye, cartoony cobble.
This is HEAVILY inspired by Thistle, another artist that's new to the forum. If you haven't seen it already, look up the Thistle Pack.
Thanks all!
Updated the OP with the latest tools. :ohmy.gif:

Iron bars. Simple. functional.
The wooden door. I really need to take a picture without part of it highlighted by my cursor.
Proof of concept for a crystalline netherrack... I guarantee that you will NOT see this version in the released pack.
Sandstone. Also simple.
One of the crystals is way too big so I'm going to break it into smaller ones.
Oh and the rest of the pack is good... (Just kidding) It's all amazing, can't wait to play it. I'll certainly reply after giving it a test drive.
Thanks for the support :smile.gif:
