If you feel like something should be changed, please post constructive criticism rather than "I prefer pack x"
Constrcutive Criticism:
You make keeping a thread up seem to easy. I'm still having to wait to reply to people so I can get the bump at an appropriate time! I can't even get feedback on a style change. D:
In all seriousness, though, there are a few things I'd love to see alternatives to. Furnaces--I remember your statement before, but I still can't get over the look of them. I'm not entirely sure why, but I suppose I stick to my previous statement about the metal plating. Netherrack--First off, I still love the netherrack texture. It just seems like it looses a lot of possibility with the whole crystal idea. Brick--Unique, but I can't see a brick house looking good with that. Sandstone--Not big on the stone brick texture being recolored for the side of sandstone.
Also, I'd love to see some better-tiling wool soon.

This is just a new little thing i've started up on my new survival server, nothing fancy, and it still has a lot of work to be put in to it.
Day, no GUI
Day, GUI
Night, no GUI
None of these are anything special, but if you feel you have a place for them, feel free to use them, same goes for the ones i posted before.
PS: the terraforming i had to do to the back of that house to make it seem like i carved it out of a hill was SO annoying, and i'm probably going to slowly build up around it so it looks like it was carved out of a small mountain. Yeah, its gonna suck.
PPS: all the blocks and building is legit, i just used TMI's creative/survival mode switcher to take the screenshots

Pretty much this as far as criticism goes, I'd like a different brick and i'd definitely be interested in seeing what you could come up with for sandstone.
Furnaces- nope, I'm keeping it.
Netherrack- do you mean it has limited uses? If so, I wholeheartedly agree. I just don't know what I would do as an alternative. I created it on a whim anyway.
Sandstone- it was functional. I do agree that it must change at some point, I just don't know when.
Brick- I based it off of sidewalk bricks near my house :tongue.gif: I just need something that is different enough from cobble but still fits in.
Wool- it tiles perfectly. The borders perfectly match up *trollface*
Also, Noss... how do you play with that field of view?

Furnace:Sticking with the hopes of an alternate furnace.
Netherrack: Do something closer to an idea of stone.
Sandstone: It is functional, but I've avoided building with it when on your pack, because sandstone is used so differently from Stone Bricks.
Brick:I don't know where cobble fits into brick.

You may want to quote this upcoming statement in the OP:
This pack officially brings good fortune to all who use it.
My first spelunking expedition since starting the pack-
208 iron ore, 3 ingots.
1 saddle.
6 diamonds.
31 gold.
82 Lapis Lazuli.
149 redstone.
I also used over 300 torches searching the cave.
I spent over an hour and a half wandering through that single cave system, i still havnt mined it all out, and i somehow miraculously just wound up back at the entrance to it in my mine shaft, when i was running low on inventory space

DM, your pack has powers.
We shall spread the word.
Regarding textures:
I like the furnace.
I agree with lo0katmyname. Make it more stone-y.
Sandstone in its current form I like, although I am open to new ideas.
I am OK with brick.
Wool: What happened to the alternate wool textures you made a while ago?

It's done that for me too! my first legit world with this pack... I spawn in front of a stronghold w/ an open roof and coal right next to it... then I get diamond almost immediately and so much iron it's ridiculous. I've never gotten lost and even accidentally found my mineshaft again after getting pushed into a ravine by a waterfall. It's real, I swear!!!
EDIT: Also, I forgot to mention, I really like the bricks as they are! Please make an alternate and dont get rid them!
Congratulations!
kudos
Definitely agree! I think we've all fallen in love with your work =D
Can't wait to see your screenshots Noss!
Still prefer PureBDCraft, but this is pretty slick.

I don't even notice the differences, to be honest.
EDIT: Gonna take it down to the normal FOV for future screenshots and whatnot. :tongue.gif:
