Oh man, I haven't posted here in a while. I guess...
Why do you make all your progress while I can't post!
That Nether Brick is one of the most amazing things I have ever seen, a perfect addition to the pack! I--waii.... There is a symbol in the center of the brick that looks dangerously similar to the Swastika. I mean, I guess it kinda fits, but... Was that intentional?
There are some things I don't like about the enchanting table, although it may just be the angle. It seems a little too smooth, ill-detailed, compared to other blocks.
Is that new diamond blocks? They look very nice, I'm sure they would tile good. I can see plenty places those could be used in, although, they aren't squiggally enough!
The nether wart is exactly what I'd expect to see from the nether, even if it does contradict the name.
The creeper is extremely unique, I've never seen one even close to it. But I must say, it isn't as creeper-ish now. I don't mean according to the original texture, but according to the fact that it should blend better.
Edit
STEELFEATHERS! Why are you ninjaing my swastika noticing!

I'm a bit hesitant to post the actual pictures, i can edit it to links if you'd like, let me know. Nothing big in these, just bits i really liked.
The detail in the enchanting table is amazing, and as you can see theres a little bit of redstone at the entrance, it seemed to fit the magical-enchanting theme. Also, i'm in love with your glowstone.
Again, glowstone = love.
This was the room i was asking about earlier.
EDIT: Noticed the swastika earlier as well, i didnt say anything though, it looks good any way around.
editx2: If it looks a bit odd, i play on Quake Pro so that's probably why.
I am Jewish. There is no way I would intentionally make a swastika. Hitler also managed to ravage the possibilities of four-way rotational symmetry, it seems.
If this issue pops up with too many people, I may need a different texture altogether.

I would suggest seeing what the enchanting table looks like in game.
I did not end up using this diamond version; the other one looked better.
I would not want to texture something befitting the name 'nether wart'.
And I wanted to do a wood creeper, for some reason. Maybe that's just me :tongue.gif:
Did you know that buddhist monks used that particular symbol long before the nazis? I think it actually means life. The nazis stole it from them. Just a fun fact. ^^

Three people pointed it out; I was worried that someone might have been offended. Some people take it really seriously.
Godwin's Law, why?
EDIT:Changing the topic, can I have some feedback on the shapes of the bottles/potions? I feel like it was a good idea but I could probably do better.

Well, the brick looks fabulous, no matter what is in it, that's what matters. if it becomes a large problem, it can be fixed, but it looks good, and will with or without it.
Subject change, anyone?
I'm a bit bit curious if you've drafted, or attempted to draft any water or lava textures? the lava is from summerfields too, yeah?
Edit:
Just saw your edit, i think they look okay but could be better. something more.. flask-ish, or beaker-ish possibly? I'm not sure exactly how you'd describe what your current texture would be, as a reference at least.

I have not attempted water or lava... I think that lithiumsound was also using some doku derivative for his water at the time, but you shouldn't quote me on that...
The bottom portion of the potion was supposed to look like an isometric cube, but I'll probably make something entirely different for the next version.

i see, i'm not too fond of the summerfields water, but it may just be biome shading on it, i dunno.
Water biome shading seems really half baked at the moment.
I still don't know how I would make water-looking water.
With water. σεσ
Really starting to pick up now, and I actually thought the Swastika thing was fitting for a hellish place. Of course, the alternative meaning doesn't fit, the original meaning.
Until the Nazis used this symbol, the swastika was used by many cultures throughout the past 3,000 years to represent life, sun, power, strength, and good luck.
Moving on, though.
I don't believe I've seen the potions yet, can you post some/point out where they are? I would look myself, but I can't play MC until Optifine is updated, because Notch didn't improve the speed at all!
First of all, sorry about bringing the issue up again. I posted without looking at responses made while I was typing :S
In terms of the potions, I like the bottle as is.
Another request: could you make textures for the music discs for the next release please? It's a bit awkward right now since they just show up blank...
Would sandstone do it?
And yes, birch is one of those textures I'm afraid of :tongue.gif:
Edit: OH! I forgot to mention that I also changed the rain.
The End Stone might me good for contrast too. :3
If it wasn't a placeholder texture i'd give it a shot, thanks for the idea though. ^.^

Retired StaffLol, there are swastikas on your nether bricks. Very appropriately evil. :biggrin.gif:
Also: I MUST SWIPE YOUR SWAMP BIOME COLOR

It's a placeholder unless everyone wants to keep it. It is certainly functional and I would have no problem with that.

Finally someone with nice blocks AND great weapon designs.
Kudos to you.

But yeah, i noticed the disks being blank as well.
