I'm totally in love with this pack. Are you going to be doing the new stuff from 1.9pre? Because this is my science room right now...

I'm sure he will get around to it. You may notice that this pack is far from complete at the moment, a lot of the textures are actually placeholders from another pack, plus the urgency to get 1.9pre textures done is not as high as getting it 1.8.1 ready since 1.9 technically isn't an official release.
If its really that big a problem, edit in the 1.9 textures from the defaults, or another pack. Just as long as you don't upload and redistribute it.

I'd say that this is the best solution at the moment.
Here's the deal:
I'm playing on a 1.8 server right now so downloading 1.9 would cause a few shenanigans.
Since packs are backwards compatible, I don't see an issue in starting the 1.9 textures because I still have placeholders for 1.8.
However, I'm missing some blocks crucial to defining the pack like leaves, furnaces, sand, and birch logs.
The stuff I posted most recently, along with the shovels I'm developing, will be released as v0.6 on Monday night.
I will try to make the aforementioned crucial blocks first before moving on to 1.9 textures. I'll try to get wooden tools in as well and that will be the update afterward.
Then I will start on 1.9.

The only thing that I don't like about this update is the crosspiece on the iron shovel. I feel like the shovel part should attach to the handle at the crosspiece as opposed to before the crosspiece.
I don't want to flood the thread with updates, but I felt that these were some pretty crucial changes. Normally there will be a one week absolute minimum between updates.
This update is going to take a bit longer. The only art I've had time to do was the piston plunger.
Most of the time will actually be spent figuring out how to tackle these blocks rather than making them.

Curse PremiumApparently I already need to update my version.
