Okay, I've added your crops and they're looking good. I might decide to tweak them a bit at some later date, but right now I'm liking them.

SilverfishMaggots at some point, but every time I try to do an image search for potential reference and resource pics, I can't look at the reference images I look up long enough to choose (or, for that matter, actually use) any of them. I'm generally okay with pictures of bugs, but there's just something about maggots that make photos of them absolutely goddamn terrifying for me to look at (or to think about at any length, which is unfortunately what I'm doing right now).Fun Fact: Maggots are sometimes used to medical and cosmetic treatments to get rid of dead skin and necrotic tissue, because they absolutely love eating any kind of dead flesh, but instinctively avoid living flesh.

Preview time: Horses!
The mouths still don't look quite right, but I'm not really sure what to do about that.
Also, I haven't done the overlays yet. I also haven't done the mule, donkey, skeleton or zombie horses yet. Wasn't there originally supposed to be a zebra and a unicorn too, or something? I remember something about a zebra and a unicorn.

I might do that for one of the stained glasses, but I'd like to keep the iron bars as something that works as all sorts of things made of iron bars instead of just fences.

That's getting a bit a head of ourselves. Its a good idea, and I just might do it, but not for quite a while.
I've never heard of it but if you can provide a link, I'll add it to the wishlist.
Don't concrete and cement look the same? In any case, I think the photo I used as a base was of cement. Probably.

A common mistake, but concrete and cement don't look the same. Concrete contains large particles like gravel, whereas cement is more uniform.
