New map background by Azlla, to match the green computers that seem to have become a re-occurring element in this pack (which the map item sprite just happens to be one of)
New GUIs for Inventory, Chest, Large Chest, Crafting Table, Furnace, and whatever the hell "demo_bg.png" is for based on that map background
Improved tiling on the bookshelves
The default jack-o-lantern face computer screen image is now the "green text" instead of the "blue screen of death"

I made a lightmap.
I intended for it to pulse, but the light is in Minecraft is supposed to look like flames, so instead of it repeating the same pattern, it randomly picks columns of pixels to make it look like it flickers. Unfortunately, this made it look like everything was lit by strobe light.
I also made the sunlight slightly reddish, but unless you look for it you can't tell.

Yeah. I'm not sure what increasing its resolution would do because there are only 16 light levels, with one per block.

Excellent. Very gloomy. A bit low visibility down in the mines, but only in the areas that are actually dark enough for hostiles to spawn, so there should be a torch there anyway.

I think I might re-texture the glowstone. I never was able to nail that "mysterious black material that somehow glows" look I was going for.

That always seemed weird to me. I think that it it would look good with the torch texture (maybe a bit darker) and simple dark braces in the corners.

New GUIs for Enchanting Table, Brewing Stand and Dispenser
New texture and custom animation for Glowstone, since I've decided that I'm not going to pull off the look for my original "mysterious glowing black mineral" idea
New item sprite for glowstone dust to match the above
New texture for Soulsand based on the gravel texture instead of the sand one. Never was satisfied with the old one.
Toned down the realism on the Gold Nugget item sprite
New texture for the beacon block
New menu background, based on the stone bricks since the brick-like cobbles are no longer actually in the pack

Updated the pictures for the updated pack. Imgur was down when I updated the pack

Added a new question to the polls regarding a possible new section of the OP that you may or may not be interested, and also added the option of "I don't care. I'm only answering this pole because it won't let me answer the others if I don't" to all the polls, as well as the stating that there aren't any wool colours you can live without (hey, you never know).

Also, I've updated the items listed in the "Help Wanted" section a tad




I'd also like to state that I'm a bit disappointed that while I'm getting a lot of people looking at the thread and downloading the pack, me and Azlla seem to be the only people actually participating in the discussion. Surely all you fine ladies, gentlemen, and whatever the polite term for "hermaphrodite" is have some questions, quips, quotes, comments, concerns, compliments, complaints, claims, commendations, observations, affirmations, allegations, exclamations, salutations, proclamations, puns, parables, protests, digests, requests, rants, rhymes, remarks, reports, rundowns, putdowns, pick-ups, flattery, slander, soliloquies, speeches, salutes, disputes, debates, discussions, dialogues, dissertations, criticisms, witticisms, allusions, innuendos, insinuations, arguments, insults, anecdotes, aches, or pains regaurding my texture pack

I meant that the glowstone should be the blue pulsing texture from the torches. I like the way you made it, but unfortunately it messes up the perfect radial symmetry of a massive building I made, and that really bothers me.

Apparently there are biome shaders for all sorts of things, like the sky and fog, added by mcpatcher. Thought you might want to know.

Oh, right. I'll give that a try too. Good thing I'm planning to add a customizer, huh? In fact, I've probably got enough versions of some of the textures to add a customizer right now.

Just letting everyone know, I'm currently working on setting up a customizer for the pack. If all goes well, it will be included in the next update. It will include most, if not all, of the older versions of the various textures.

Yes, all 32x32 packs require MCpatcher.

I know I said I'd have the customizer ready by this update, but that's on hold for now because MinecraftCustomizer has become self aware and rebelled against it human masters is experiencing technical difficulties in regards to uploading 32x32 texture packs
