Hey guys Modlynx here and I'm currently making a texture pack and this is what I have so far.
So I'm having trouble and I decided to test it to see how it's going so far and when I zip the file correctly and put it in the texture packs folder in the .minecraft folder, I enter the game load the texture pack then start a new world and they're all the default textures.
Do anyone other texture artists or people know a solution to this?
If you do thank you.

What is in the zip folder? you have to name your files properly and they need to be in the certain dimensions.
You can just make a specific file for the cobblestone and expect the game to use it correctly, it needs to be in a certain dimension in a file called terrain.png
Motion King was saying that you have to zip what is inside the texture pack folder, not the folder containing all the files for the pack. Have you tried that?
