Hi, i'm making a 9/11 memorial project in minecraft. I am building the entire new world trade center complex but the glass is supposed to be a really bright blue and the only way I can make it look right is with diamond blocks.. I don't want diamond block towers lol is there anyone that could help me make the glass from the default texture pack have a bright blue tint to it but still be transparent? I have no idea how to but it would be neat to have a little close to default texture pack that I could upload with the buildings.. I need to figure something out before I release it on the 11th!
wanted to post this before i left to my doctor's appt. ill be back within the hour ;\
I didn't want to use mods so everyone could download it without too much trouble, but thats okay, ill use the mod to take pictures and diamond for the upload
tried wool and half the tower was dark and the rest bright, ill try ice in a little bit too , I'm making the entire complex with all the buildings, trees and the 2 fountains where the original towers stood.. i took that tower out and pasted it in a new map so it wouldnt be spoiled too early :smile.gif:

Sorry :sad.gif:
isn't that how ice is made?
BTW this 9/11 memorial is an amazing thing :laugh.gif:
this is the mod http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/485639-173-coloured-glass-mod-v10/page__hl__stained glass
oh okay if anyone can manage to get transparency to work then we just need to make glass with a light blue colored tint, kinda like diamond
I finished! I just have to find a way to get it to you. It's a single file that u put in your .jar file. It's not a whole texture pack
Sure i dont care if u use it haha
Net_Bastard's Epic Low-res! As much awesomeness that you can cram into a 5x5 texture pack, and then some!
Transparency != Translucency.
You can't add transparent colors because transparent is the lack of color, being 100% see-through.
