What all do you guys think should be included in a tex pack's first release? I've done/plan to do the staples, like dirt/sand/gravel/grass/stone/ores, but what else?
You can have as little as one texture to start a WIP thread, but as for having a 'first release' download, I'd say at the minimum you need to have all the basic textures (stone/dirt/grass/sand/cobble/gravel/bark/leaves/chest). That way people actually have something to test out in-game.
Of course, if you're making a mob or item pack none of that applies. :tongue.gif:
I already did all the tools (see sig) It sounds like I have enough for a WIP release then. Could stand to do like maybe glass and sandstone or maybe the workbench, but yeah that's about it. Thanks guys! :smile.gif:
but to get the most interest, start with the terrain, and then the items.

When I started Resonance! I only had the moon done. (and that even changed!)

you have the reason, the most interesting thing of a texture pack is the terrain.
obviously if it's a full texture pack and not a mob pack or something
