I just wanted to create a post showcasing my WIP texture pack. Some water animation has been done. And all of terrain.png is finished. items png has very few texture left.
Please give feedback.

So how are people working on 1.8 packs already? I'm currently working on a pack and – knowing that 1.8 is right around the corner – would like to prepare my pack for the update. Any direction with this would be much loved.
Anyway, I like your pack! You should get some pictures up for some people that may be viewing on a mobile device or don't want to watch a video.

Well jeb released plenty of 1.8 content on his twitter, just check out the "Home" section of the forums and you'll find everything he posted there.
Correct. Jeb released the 1.8 terrain.png and the 1.8 items.png. Plus some GUI textures.
What I did was I loaded the 1.8 texture in a new file. Then selected the new texture then deleted them from the 1.7 textures then I inverted the selection and deleted from the 1.8 textures. There for adding the 1.8 texture into the mix. Then I edited them to my liking.

The leaves seem to be a different resolution than the rest?
I'm making a texture pack: (16x) Silent Night
I am on a 2009 macbook. So it can be a bit laggy when recording :wink.gif:
