For the squares with question marks next to the titles in terrain.png.psd: In the last row after the cracking squares are footprints (for snow, unused) then straight and curved village borders (unused.) The last column, 7th row is unconnected melon/pumpkin stem, 8th row is connected.

I'll change them now. Then I will upload the new files when I finish other stuff.
Very Cool How we open up in gimp.... with the folders and stuff...
In GIMP it's impossible to have the folders... :sad.gif: but you can edit all the layers normally on GIMP! I would *cof* not *cof* buy Photoshop if I were you.
Most people know how to do this stuff pretty easy, but your presented it well and made it more simple thanks. Maybe do a PDN (Paint.NET) version to? :smile.gif:
I'll create it after I create everything for .psd. It'll be easier, I hope...

This is brilliant. I got Photoshop as part of CS5, but every time I tried to use it to edit a texture pack, after 15 minutes I'd get so mad I had to walk outside and punch a few trees. Then I'd come back and go back to PaintNet. You've made it so easy I might finally learn to like Photoshop.
BTW - if anyone is looking for free textures to experiment with putting in the templates, there are some great ones at Torley Textures and Genetica.

When I downloaded GIMP, it put a whole bunch of shizzle on my computer, therefore making me not trust it. It even installed an addon to Google Chrome! -.-

That's probably because you haven't personalized your installation of GIMP... It works perfectly for me, and it's a totally trusted download... anyway, I do not recomend GIMP, because it have less functions than Photoshop...

Past versions of terrain.png had it, but it was never used, the texture is generated in the minecraft code.

There's a //forums.getpaint.net/index.php?/topic/18128-photoshop-psd-file-plugin-newest-version-200/?quot;" target="" data-ensure-absolute>plugin for that. I use Paint.NET too. The folders don't show in Paint.NET but it is usable.
