Removing Torch Smoke

How do you remove/delete torch smoke?

Will it also remove fire smoke? :S

If you were to manually erase the texture for the smoke particle in particles.png(?), and yes, it would most likely get rid of fire smoke.

You don't have to erase it if you no how to set the opacity to zero. Then it doesn't mess the texture up if you want it back. (how I get no clouds)

Removing torch smoke will remove all smoke from the game, as well as removing any Redstone particle effects.

Really? Minecraft uses the same smoke texture and just recolors it, huh? Nice to know, thanks!

yep...hopefully we can convince notch&co. to give us different particles for smoke/portal/redstone instead of the recolor.

That'd be nice. I was hoping to make redstone particles star-shaped, but star-shaped smoke just looks weird... OK for an arcane pack though :wink.gif:

haha...yeah I learned my lesson with the smoke rings in my old pack... just never worked out right.
