Ok, I'm making a magic themed texture pack, 32x and all, but I have some things I'm unsure of, like whether to make the bow something like a staff or a spell book. I'm also unsure of a theme (like necro, divine, nature, etc.) or what to make the swords.
... lol, dont make skeletons cast magic in ur texturepack... besides how will that look? A white ball of ice just like stuck in the ground? lol :tongue.gif:

yeah you should do an orb or something, and have the bow be like an open book and then with the new bow thing for 1.8 you can have it like flipping through the pages as its getting closer & stronger. that'd be SO awesome. :biggrin.gif: I say necro btw (: good luck man i'm sure it'll be awesome! :smile.gif:

You can go with a staff and make the staff glow and pull back to launch the magic spell!
Or you can keep the original bow but make the arrow look fancy! Magic flaming arrow! Ice Arrow?

I just got the funniest visual of a wizard (think Doctor Strange) fighting someone by chucking crystal balls at them. Admittedly, if I knew someone were going so start chucking heavy orbs of glass at me, I probably wouldn't screw with them, but still.
As far as being indecisive, you could always try one thing and make alternates later.
