Hi, I don't know what kind of texture pack to make. I want to make it 16x (because I like the way they look) but I don't know what theme to use. I don't want to make anything overused like simplepacks or anything, they're ugly :sad.gif:
The problem with many video games/movies/etc. is that they're set on Earth, or an Earth-like planet. And because they're on Earth, it doesn't leave you much to do with the natural materials. (i.e. dirt and stone) I'd suggest something with different or odd looking terrain. I don't think I've seen a pack to turn the Minecraft world into the moon, for example. It would be pretty hard getting the materials to look different, but pulled off well I think it would be pretty cool.
Its good that you're staying away from simple pack :DD
I would suggest a theme based on something popular, but has never been done before, like Batman.You could have the character be bruce wayne and have the armour as different bat suits he has used throughout the ages.
Not a big fan of batman, or superheroes in general :\

Any ideas?
Another idea I had for a pack was one where you're on the rug of a giant room.

Don't know what that is, sound too futuristic
@muffin
you're no help :sleep.gif:
I don't have any tv shows, and what do you mean a giant room?

But Earth's a Nice place D:
I'm not saying it isn't, I'm just saying there's only so many ways to make dirt look unique.
I like that, but I'm not sure if it's something I'd use regularly
I will make it though :smile.gif:
