Okay so I have heard to make a texture pack is to get 7-zip or winRAR and open ur minecraft.jar and go to terrain and get the picture out to edit it to ur liking. but when i open it i go to it and well, there is no picture! It says something like "No picture or video found" help!

Well also in the .jar there is a folder called paulscode and i have never seen it before....

you don't go to the terrain folder, you go to the terrain.png, it should be findable within all those .class files

Well everyone says go to the terrain folder but i will try to give it another go.

How do I set the editor?

If you open up the minecraft.jar, the terrain.png will be right inside. Just extract/drag it/save it to your desktop. Then open it.

I know I have gotten it to work now and im making my first texture pack ^^
