Your first tex pack? I'm surprised! My tex pack is tilll a WIP, and it's very simple, a small cobblestone piece compaired to your diamond block (texture pack)! Great work! And it actually looks HD even though it's 16px! However, detail could end up in Framerate lag, and I'm having a lot of it now (max 10 fps with 500m Java heap space).

Thank you! I wasn't expecting a reply like this :smile.gif:
Also, detail doesn't matter unless it's over 16x. So no worries there.

Tips. Try adding some depth to your texturing with shading, and try to create something aesthetically pleasing to look at. To me the Ore blocks just look like paint blobs on stone.
Try adding multiple, smaller stones, or one that is directly centered. You need to think about how this stuff looks if it were to tile.
My number one tip would definitely be to try to add depth to the textures.
Also, your stone looks like it would be cobble stone, and your cobble stone looks like it would be brick. That is ALOT of "texture" to look at whilst on long mining expeditions, so you might think about softening your textures a little bit :smile.gif:
Beautiful landscapes!
Stone and pink gravel!
Mining is so exciting now! (changing gold)
Wavy, wavy, sand!
Starter ores!
Zebra trees!
Cobble and wooden doors!
Cozy cottage and iron door!
Mossy cobblestone! (I looked all over for a dungeon -.-)
Start a nice farm with Seakas' fences!
Now we know why clay comes in balls!
Make a fancy library! (Sorry about transparency, will fix next version)
If you liked it, feel free to try it out. Just remember it's still a long way from done.

Curse PremiumBe cause most of the textures are from that game. (it looks like.)
Nope! And I can proudly say I have never played Terraria, all these textures are the works of my imagination.
I would appreciate it if you actually gave me some tips. Constructive criticism, please.

I like my textures really loud and in your face, not many are like that. That's why I made my own.
