Hellow everyone im proud to announce that i have created my very first texture pack :smile.gif:
I learned how to make them and i will continue to make them better each time with your support they will get even BETTER!
(it also creates less lag for me :smile.gif: and the gold ore looks pretty bad ill fix it soon :smile.gif: or maybe ill make a better one but i need you guys/girls to download this one because it will help me out alot and i will be able to bring you more and better packs... thanks)
ok enough talking here are some pics! <--- just click the spoilers to view pics :smile.gif: incase anyone didnt know lmao!
Sorry, i didn't like it at all. But nice try. If you need inspiration, you could take a look at my second texture pack, KrisCraft
I would suggest starting slowly, like getting to know the program you use. My first texture pack was horrible, but once i learnt about the features, it started to get better.

Now that you've probably got some understanding of how tiling works. MY first suggest for a serious pack would be to pick up some sort of concept, idea or theme for your pack. This usually helps, not only give your pack an identity and feel, but also helps make sure everything fits in together.
For mine, my concept was blurred textures, and so far it's turning out awesome I think. Still lots of work and small fixes to do. But finding that concept really, REALLY helped me put it together so everything feels like it's from the same pack :biggrin.gif:
Your pack is well done for a first.
There is visible attempt at giving depth of field to your textures. Kris's pack doesn't contain this, all his textures are really flat, along side with his dirt being too dark. Thats not the style for yours apparently. He needs more work before linking up his own as inspiration. (No offense Kris)

You are doing great with your texture pack, I hope you the best of luck with it! :u

Tophat, your photobucket just died, you need to visit and fix your screenshots for your pack!

I Second this motion. Keep at it. Very few people coming in with packs have any real will to continue making packs when they don't instantly become super-well-known-uber-texture-artists. It's good to see people improving on what they are enjoying and not giving up :tongue.gif:

thanks so much for the feed back and help :smile.gif: really appreciate it!
rating style: :biggrin.gif: amazing :)good :(okay >:sad.gif: terrible my opinion: first off it is really good for a first time making one but not for a professinal i would say mabye add a bit more texture to some things but besides that it was amazing for a first time:) textures: sometimes when me being well me i sometimes don't focus on the textures so it looks like lapuz lupes is diamonds but this i would say is better a difference's in texture I would like this but the art style is a bit weird and you sometime SOMETIMES don't know what is what :biggrin.gif: art style ....ugh not much to say here just make a bit more deference between stuff :smile.gif: virdict: as the texture pack is good when your just learning how to make one it's amazing but with a bit more practice it could be extremely good my personal verdict is 7/10

I ain't the best at textures, but it would be awesome if you could leave some feedback on the thread. (Helps me remember it). I really don't know what you mean with "depth", so would be cool if you could explain that too me. (In my thread, i won't read this post any longer.. probably)
Also, if the dirt is too dark, i could make it lighter =)
Thanks for feedback anyway

Hey Rad. Isn't it nice to see a texture pack come out that ISN'T a ****ing solid colour? lmao
Also swordman, you should check out this stickied thread first and format your title:
