HD Texture Fix Won't Work! Help?

I made a 32x32 texture pack but when I select it and start a map, it shows everything default. I downloaded the HD Texture Fix but when I open it it won't let me select the HD Texture box? Does anybody know the fix for it? Your help will be greatly appreciated!
