Ages Review
At first glance, this texture pack had many aspects constructed mainly of noise. It’s resolution is 16x and it is a work in progress, so what you read here will most likely not be the final product.
Pros: Luckily, you can customize this pack to your likings. Ores seem nice, but they are at a loss of variety and shading. Diamond in this pack is now white, as well as it’s block. Gold, iron and diamond blocks take the same shape as a half step and that is a bit disappointing. Most of it’s terrain is done, but no other things have been started (as of Version 3). Ages was made in 6 hours (or as it seems) which is pretty good for a pack like this.
Cons: Certain blocks don’t tile well, such as obsidian, while other blocks are simplistic (Chest, workbench, note block). This texture pack is a little mixed up with it’s theme. Only terrain is completed.
Overall this pack is ok, as it was done in around 6 hours. If you like dark themed packs, then this is for you.

Resonance Review
First off, you should know this was based off an anime called Soul Eater, one of Mirror’s favourites. It is also a collaboration with Caduceus. As you can (maybe) tell by the name, this pack has a dark feel to it.
Pros: I really like the title menu, which goes to GUI. Swords are pretty crazy (in a good way) as they have wicked designs to them. Pretty much an overall great pack for anybody who likes skulls, and a dark-anime feel to minecraft. Terrain and Items are just about done (and GUI).
Cons: Personally I’m not of fan of skulls and all. Certain blocks and items are a bit hard to differ, as in, I couldn’t tell what the mushroom texture was >.< Most of the pack has a dark tune to it, a little too much for me.
Nonetheless, this is a pretty nice pack. I think you should check it out if you want a different Minecraft feel, especially if you are a fan of Soul Eater!
