I worked on this for 10 minutes and it looks pretty good to me. It is 32x. Please give me some feedback on it.

Lol, jk, it looks pretty awesome. Not really cobble, as it looks like bricks, but the moss and color looks really well put together. Great work 4.5/5

Its actually just a smooth cut cobble, an alternative. Thanks everyone for the feedback, I will work on making it less flat. And Crothen etc, this isn't part of a texture pack.. yet :wink.gif:

I like the color, but since it is at the top, it reminds me of grass.

I think you should keep cobblestone as random rocks put together, not bricks. :u

Personally I like it when the cobble textures are more blocky than rocky. It just looks more clean and less cluttered/ugly.

try not to add noise. otherwise, it looks great. but maybe make the cobblestone a bit darker?

For a texture like this I would wait until 1.8 is released. Having a brick texture for cobble would become a bit of a mixup between mossy cobble and mossy stone brick. I would go for less square stone chunks and more rounded stone chunks. This would be perfect for the stronghold mossy brick, though. :biggrin.gif:

It looks too gooey. More like a rough slime than moss.

Ehh, you do know what moss actually is, right? No? Well, put simply,its not what you see in minecraft.

Well i guess I should say this will be a 1.8 texture, not cobblestone

I really like it! Though it looks a little too round and flat for my own personal taste. I can see how it would be mossy cobblestone obviously, but if I knew nothing about Minecraft I'd say it looks more like slime oozing out.

I think other people are right - the top is too flat and there needs to be more variation in the green (noise).
