I made a 1.8 ready texture pack using the recently posted items and terrain png for 1.8 but when i tested my texture pack everything works BUT the terrain and items which are very important in a texture pack.... idk if i downloaded the 1.8 textures wrong (i copied and pasted) if i did it wrong plz let me know and tell me how to do it right... thx

Check to make sure you saved it as a .png file.

well ik i did because i already edited them... i also made a different texture pack with the new 1.8 terrain and items and that one worked perfectly... idk whats wrong

What happens if you go in-game? Are all the textures white or something?

im assuming that i idnt download the 1.8 textures right? because the items and terrain arent working but the mobs are?

Nah... Its fine... You need proper naming and in the right spots though...

It's terrain.png not Terrain.png
It's item.png not Item.png
The item.png goes into the gui folder

EDIT: Looks good, but you need a patcher to use it

So your saying all i did wrong was name terrain and items incorrectly and put them in the wrong spots?
