Is it impossible to edit a texture pack on a mac? or even unzip it and zip it again?
I used to have safari automatically unzip files after downloading, and i would just re-zip any texture packs.
Unfortunately, Minecraft doesn't seem to like the Mac's way of zipping folders, because it'd refuse to accept any of the texture packs.
I have since changed safari to not unzip files automatically, but is there any way of going around this?
Id like to be able to edit texture packs, or even create my own, but this doesn't seem possible.
Also, sorry if this is in the wrong forum, im assuming if it has to do with texture packs it goes here.

Instead of zipping the folder you get from unzipping, zip the contents of that folder.
There's 7-zip which works on Mac, Linux and Windows. It's worked fine for me on both Windows and Linux, so I don't see why it wouldn't work fine for Mac as well.
