Hey all.

It'd seem that some people using my texture pack are having some difficulties with the moon and sun.

For me, I see a menacing, laughing sun and a macabre, grinning bloody moon.

They see giant white squares.

Whussgoin'onhere?

Sounds like they either didn't patch the game, or don't have the processing power to run the pack.

I assume it's a HD pack, I haven't actually used it myself.

Nah, it's 16x, but the sun and moon were submitted to me by a fan. I guess you need to use the patcher for the sun and moon. Alrighty then.

They patch their clients and yet the issues continue. ;D; Anybody know a fix?

so you fina,lly made a tread. yayz! i have continuing issues with the moon and sun, which i dont mind as i made a clock, but still, even when i occasionally look up at the sun or moon, i wanna see the laughing sun, and the bleeding moons. not white squares filled with nothing but whiteness, squareness, and more whiteness(did i mention whiteness?)
i have tried taking mods out, no worky.
ive tried patching it without mods: no worky
ive tried simply saving my packs and saves, and downloading a fresh minecraft game. STILL NO BLOODY WORKY!
if you guys can help at all, please do dso as the pack isnt a soul eater packer w/o the sun and moon

I feel like I've said this before...but it will be buggy, even if the MC is patched, as long as you use a resolution for the sun and moon that is not a power of 2 (32, 64, 128, 256, etc.). The one in your TP is 300 px square. I even had problems running it at first and I easily run 128 and 64x TPs on my machine. Resize it to 256x (or up to 512x) then see what happens. Should run smoothly, I resized it to get it to work and it runs fine now.
