If Minecraft were an actual survival experience, this would definitely fit the scenario. I really like the look of everything, I hope you keep going with it as I am impressed.

I was pleasantly surprised! Excellent work good sir! I really like the natural not
overworked feel to the items you've completed.
I would love to see a High-Resolution pack containing textures like the ones you
have, or items, in this case.
As ClipTy said, an adventure-ing type pack would be a change of pace. Possibly
trying to make a pack that sticks to the minecraft feel of basic textures without
the overworked detail.

i just added seeds, clay, bread, paper, book, map, pumpkin seeds, watermelon seeds, and bow animation frames and adjusted the fishing rod and reverted the iron armor to the bucket

Seriously, I haven't even seen a viking texture pack with a bearded helm, much less just a beard on its own. You, my good sir, are like the first guy to invent the wheel; it's so easy to come up with, but nobody else did!
I don't know if anyone else came up with this first, but if they did it was probably so bad it didn't receive enough publicity. But, it's still a good concept.
The only problem, though, is when a female is playing. But then again, girls don't exist on the internet, so BRAVO!
