I am working on making a texture pack. When I try to edit terrain.png it doesn't work. When I open up the game with the texture pack grass and leaves are all gray. I haven't edited the leaves yet. Very weird.
I am using Paint. I didn't know that leaves had transparency, I'm better with paint when it comes to precise stuff like this. But it also occurs with grass. Is grass transparent?
Remove foilagecolour.png, I'll fix terrain.png. You'll need paint.net for editing, though.

Well I got terrain and put it on to paint.net and just copied off from what I already did and put it on to the paint.net.

The last picture is foliage, for some reason I can't see it. You probably can't either.
