HELP im making my first texture pack and the bright blue water doesnt suit my texture and i changed it to a more pale colour, doing that it doesnt animate now... help would be lovely

It's because of the .png, if you want to do that download the painterly pack and make sure that you inlude MCpatcher's file for custom water.png then edit from there.

Ya, you're best to use MCPatcher and create a file called custom_water_flowing.png and custom_water_still.png. Place those in the same directory your terrain.png is. Doing water in terrain.png is cumbersome and limited. Custom water anims can be any size really... and however many steps you want too.

Thanks heaps, im just gunna keep it default for now but when i have the time i will create it, cause it need so many frames for it to work properly
