I started work on this texture pack because I wanted a new look for Minecraft whilst retaining the original block designs, this Texture pack is my attempt to do just that.
Some blocks are simplified re-textures of the original design and others are complete redesigns to make them more aesthetically pleasing to work with.
I have released Preview version of the pack, Download here: DOWNLOAD

For your first texture pack, so far so good. Plus, not only does it feel the same, it feels different, as much as I just contradicted myself <<<. Very good, I am quite excited for this!
No offense to you at all, but I'm rather tired of seeing texture packs that just make things more simple.
If you want to make a good first texture pack, then spend a long time on it. Try some shading, work with depth perception. That'll make one people really like.

Im sorry what?
The only difference between what ive done and what the default has is my pack has next to no noise on the textures. there is only so much detail I can go in to when im using default 16x16 textures and and attempting to keep the "feel" of the pack I am creating.
