Love the look.
<3 the blue beds
<3 tools
<3 Purple enderpearls
<3 wood
<3 blue glowstone
I wish you can make like more purple and blue stuff and could you tweak the water? Thx for this awsome texture
Sorry, I can't tweak the water. It requires a different editing program and whole new skills.
But thanks for liking my texture pack :smile.gif:

I saw this pack a month or two ago. After looking at this again, I can't believe I didn't download it a earlier. It does indeed look like a great alternative for the default! +1
Rickput7, I have to admit this texture pack is pretty nice, as it changes some blocks in very simple and cool ways. There are a few tips I advise you though, as I have made some texture packs with photoshop before.
1. CHANGE SOME OF THE ITEMS.PNG TEXTURES!!! That would be very nice, as having all the items in default minecraft style is a bit bland for a re-texturing
2. Bring up the saturation in the iron, gold, and diamond blocks.
3. Try to get GIMP or PHOTOSHOP, as they make texture pack making so much simpler
4. Make the wooden planks darker, to like a stained color.
5. Otherwise, you are fine. Just try to make something in your blocks that makes this texture POP!!!
Hope you read this for some nice tips.

I did! Most to all of it is just simple, small tweaks. Notice how the egg in my pack is whiter than default, and the leather is less red. There's multiple other tweaks as well.
2. Bring up the saturation in the iron, gold, and diamond blocks.
Increasing the saturation on those blocks makes little to no visual difference. I've tried.
3. Try to get GIMP or PHOTOSHOP, as they make texture pack making so much simpler
I tried photoshop and I couldn't even figure out how to paint a single pixel. All I really need for my texturing is paint.net.
4. Make the wooden planks darker, to like a stained color.
I tried that previously, but changed it later on because it didn't look right. It looked really stale.
Also, is it really necessary to type in that big of font?

Minecraft 1.0.0 is out! Pack is done, the only thing left needed is to continue to update it every time a new version of the game is out that has new textures.
I just put them together now and thought they looked pretty nice. Took about and hour and a half to finish them, starting with the default sun and moon. I wouldn't doubt they look similar to others', but these are my own work. I don't think I'll include them in this texture pack, but I'll definitely be using them in my game.
Although if you do want them, I think you can right click them and select "save image as" and put them in your minecraft.jar. No need for MC patcher.
(They're 64x64, btw. 2x the default resolution for the sun and moon.)

Thank you, finally some great feedback! i was beginning to worry everyone was just going to ignore it and i won't be able to get it out there!
Your picture of the square watermelons is from Japan correct? In japan they gentically made watermelons to grow square, that way, they can stack them, and save for the little room they have. No joke.
in my last post, i said you should change the chests.
Didn't realize you already did, my apologies.
PS perhaps you should update the pictures
Haha, the reason the chests have a watermark on them is because those are unused textures as of 1.8. Textures for the chest are taken from different files now. Also, the texture pack is about done now. I haven't been able to think of any more changes for it, so I consider it "complete".

Yeah :smile.gif: I found it funny so I put as my avatar, but I'm changing my avatar soon.
Great job! I was looking for a texture pack that is somewhat like the default. This is perfect!
One thing I might change is the tall grass. Other than that, it is very well made.

Permission to use that in my texture pack?
Sure, but if you distribute it mark the glowstone as not your texture.

My little pony is for little girls
Keep doing what you're doing with this pack, i like the look of it.
If i like the finished version, i might make it the recommended texture pack for my map, check it out in my signature
PS i think you should make lapis lazuli ore, item and blocks green instead of blue, just a suggestion.
one more suggestion: you should do something different with the chests. No offense or anything, but im not really digging the name on there.
Didn't realize you already did, my apologies.

please friend me if you like me and cake is always a LIE!!!!!
Also, I added the HD sun and moon textures I made earlier as an option. Check inside the terrain folder. Rename and replace if needed.
Wait, what? :huh.gif:
