This is the Darkcrafter texture pack originally meant for my server. (As a server exclusive). However after being up for a month on my site I felt it was time to let everyone have it.
This texture is meant to complement the game, not all of the blocks are redone, just the ones that annoyed me (Especially glowstone and glass) However EVERY block was at least tweaked in some way. Either way this was originally my first texture pack so go easy on me, I plan on doing a 256x 128x 64x and 32x versions of this pack eventually.
This pack is now available in True 4x.

Also the weapons, GUI, Leather and Diamond Armors have been tweaked as well.
The change will be subtle at first but most of the people on my server still use this pack. Either way Enjoy it mates.
Thanks for the input, I was never sure about the wood, I'll be sure to change it up in the 1.8 version (But I want it to be a darker color). Also if anyone has download issues they only last for about an hour usually.
How could I change the wood to make it better? 1.8 is around the corner so I'd like to know for when I make the pack 1.8 ready.
Well, you should definetely use a square pattern, but since it's your texture pack, you could try playing a little with combinations of patterns, colors, but definetely a square edge.

Alright cool, that seems to be what the majority of people are saying so I may make the default a square pattern, but keep a secondary circle one in a terrain_0.png that way you can pick and choose.
Also I'm working on a 4x version of this pack (was bored). So that'll be available too.
The 8x version is next on my agenda. Ideally I'd like to get them all done before 1.8, that way when 1.8 is out, I can just worry about updating them to 1.8. However if 1.8 comes out before I finish them, Updating the existing packs will come first. However 8x and 32x I plan on doing over the weekend or if I find time to do 8x during the week, I'll try to do 32 and 64 over the weekend. 256x will be released alongside 512x. I've also had a request for a 2x (Yes a 2x pack) which I may do just for fun.
2000+ Downloads Total, Thanks alot Everyone. Will update chests to be 1.8 compliant soon. when downloads have reached 5000 I will do a 32x32 and 64x64. Might do 128x and 256x on 10000 downloads.
