[MINECRAFT v.1.7.3] [TEXTURE_PACK v.2.0] [16x16]

Hey. I'm Timmygudge. I played minecraft since the Halloween update and loved it ever since. I have been bored over the past couple of weeks and decided to make my own texture pack. The texture pack includes:

-Clear glass
-Smooth textures :laugh.gif:
-A neat cell shade type border on almost everything :tongue.gif:
-A couple of modified mobs
-Grass blocks are all green for more realistic hills :ohmy.gif:
-Health and Air icon changes
-Sun and moon are rounder :cool.gif:
-Neat looking beds!! :blink.gif:
-Porkchop is a red potion, cooked is a yellow potion!
-And more!

I hope you guys understand that this was NOT easy to make. I would love to hear some feedback on how you think my texture pack is. I understand that I may have missed things and such but tell me what you think so far and i'll be proud to look into fixing anything you are not fond of. Install info: To install/use this texture pack is very simple.
1. Download the file from the links below.
2. Find RUN (Gui Terminal) and type in %appdata%
3. Go into .minecraft and drag the file into the texture packs
4. activate it though the mods and texturepacks section
5. Play and enjoy! :wink.gif:

OR...

2. start minecraft and go to mods and texture packs and click open texture pack folder and place it in there and then disregard step 3.

-Edit pumpkin look when on head
-tweak torches

-different looking pumkins

When I first started my first texture pack it was very similar to yours and I got a lot of hate for it just remember to not listen to what they say you're still learning so keep up the good work! Also a side note use tinypic and you can directly upload your pictures and people won't have to click links. If you need any help reply or pm me.

People didn't give you hate because it was simple, it was because you put little effort in it. See, it isn't so much your pack, as it is more that the people who actually try get screwed over by little to no effort packs clogging the first page. Now, second:

Swords
They looked quite unique, I liked the style

Bad
Everything else
There's no app for that.

And as for the "install info" There is a button on the texture pack page in MC that will open up the texture pack folder. You paste it into there and BAM! its been added to the list.

I'm glad that you like my swords. even though the texture pack looks simple it's far from it. also what exactly do you mean, "Bad Everything else There's no app for that"? And yes i know you can put the texturepack in a couple of ways. i just put the way i find more simplistic and the way i was taught first. Texture packs aren't easy to make, you should know that. Try to be more easy on the other texture pack creators, they are trying their best. Thanks for the feed back but please, the last thing this world needs is another troll and i'm sure you would say the same. cheers

Pro Tip: why add a border? It makes it look worse.
apart from that, it looks nice but your blocks definitly need more shading, you can check out some tutorials for texturing in my signature.

Hey, nice beginning pack, I am also working on my first pack in my sig, and when I first
released it to beta I had some people point out stuff they didnt like or hated which may
happen to you.

But, just take it as criticism and try and make what they hate something that they will love/like
and if you keep doing that, in the end you will have a very nice texture pack.

This is the exact same thing.

I think it's pretty good, but your first? For your first texture pack, this is heaven. It looks a lot like SImpleCraft, but they have differences and I can tell you worked hard on this. Keep up the good work!

Please fix your title format to those that are required by the forum section rules please.

On a nother note, i really like the texturepack :smile.gif:

Thanks for the advice but sadly, the border is here to stay. thats what makes it different. I will look into the whole shading thing and already did take a look at your thread. I think it's a brilliant idea. thanks and cheers!!

ok, sure thing, it's up to you. Sorry to disappoint you but borders are no different from hundreds of other packs :3
