So I am new to altering texture packs, and was hoping for some help. I have a new texture that I love, and everyone should check out:

But, I would like to also add paintings from another that I already have. Can I simply copy and paste the art file, or is it more complicated than that?

I don't plan to release this as mine, just would like for my own use. Any support would be greatly appreciated!

just copy and paste the art file thats is all

I'm having trouble getting the new texture compressed again. I can only get the folder in it's own .zip and not make it a .zip itself

NM Figured it out. Thank you!

Try, instead of right clicking the folder and selecting Send to>Zipped file, opening the folder, selecting everything in it and THEN selecting Send to>Zipped file.
