I made an account literally just to tell you this:
This is the GREATEST texture pack I have ever found
The dark, ominous feeling just adds a new level to my minecraft worlds and I truly enjoy the pictures, being able to put my favorite characters portraits around my buildings just gives me a warm feeling
I cannot thank you enough for doing such a fantastic job, I can't even use other texture packs anymore because it just doesn't look as truly amazing as this one
Thank you, truly, thank you
I can't thank you enough for this comment here. Just yesterday I was having a really hard time with a bout of depression. I am a disabled veteran and making texture packs for minecraft is the closest thing to a paying job that I have. I make them because I love the game and I can only make them when I really FEEL it in my heart to put one together. You've really made my day today by leaving me this comment, so thank you so much for enjoying the Chrono Trigger 2300 AD texture pack.
I do my very best to keep all of my texture packs updated, and I've been working more and more on creating textures for mod compatibility. So as long as I am able you will be able to play a fully updated version of this texture pack up until Minecraft Full Version and beyond.
Yes, thank you, I've been doing very well lately. I'd be happier if my downloads would pick back up to where they were a month ago, but I'll keep working on them no matter what anyways.
Updated texture pack for Beta 1.9 pre-release 6, also adjusted water to match 2300 A.D. water.
For seriousness though, are there some other chrono trigger packs you have out there? I thought you had dropped the others or would have put a link in that topic to any new ones you might make.

Fact.

I guess I always just assume if people want to know more about my texture packs they will click on my banner. That is the link to my most viewed texture pack "Shining Force", where I have put up links to all of my texture packs. Also my YouTube channel has updated links of each texture pack.
Anyway, thanks for the idea, I've now put a link to each of the "Chrono Trigger" based packs on the respective topics, a 1000AD on the 2300AD and vice versa. As far as making others, I do plan to eventually make a 65,000,000 BC. version of the packs, but I can't set a date on when that will be completed. However, it's very likely that I will eventually release one. Again, thank you so much for your interest. My next big project will be making banners that people can use as their signature for each individual pack which I have made. I believe for the quality of my texture packs they should be getting more views, so I am hopeful that will help them to become more well known.
Hey Mythra there was an update to the game, I wasn't aware until today. I think it only messed with biomes and added eggs.
Yeah, the sheep eat grass now. I think it is very cute. I've been working on updating all of my texture packs, I'm a little off of my usual fast pace with these things. The two Chrono Trigger texture packs are the last two I need to update. I'll try to get to it soon, thanks for your continued interest.
NOW UPDATED for 1.2 (barring any major changes by Jeb) and with this I've made a change to my version numbering system. I will now be numbering each version to match the compatible version of Minecraft and include a letter after it which will go along with updates I make during that particular Minecraft version number.
I have also begun to overhaul my Opening Post for all of my texture packs to include; a 'Support' section where I will put banners and links to my YouTube and Planet Minecraft account, a 'More' section - where I will have links to ALL of my other texture packs, and I'm changing the whole look of my Opening Post to hopefully be better overall.
Finally, I have big plans to be more active in updating and improving my texture packs after a couple of months of very little work on them. I'd like to do more to flesh them out, re-texturing parts of the terrain and items which I've yet to work on. I'd like to thank everyone who has showed an interest in my work up to this point and for all of the wonderful words of encouragement. :biggrin.gif:
Unless the picture you showed and your actual texture pack files have different ore textures, you have stolen textures from Painterly pack.

Also, the links in your "Other packs" section link to what? If they link to your thread, you shouldn't be using adfly for that, as it's probably illegal. If it's to a download, then that would be a bit more understandable, but I would prefer any links link to one's thread instead of a download link, so people actually know when they're downloading something.

For starters, I want to thank you for pointing out the issue with the adfly links on that particular section of my opening post. I've read through the forum rules and I think I see what you meant and I've changed them to link to each of my threads directly.
Secondly, I personally have had textures stolen from me in the past. In my case it was my entire 'Shining Force' texture pack. Someone had posted it on Planet Minecraft before I had ever seen that website, simply putting their own name in place of mine. However, I do not believe I am deserving of your accusation of having stolen the Painterly ore textures. I will say that I used the Painterly ores on my stone textures as a starting point as can clearly be seen in this comparison image with Painterly on the left and Chrono Trigger on the right:
As can be seen they ARE quite similar, but they ARE NOT identical. So to accuse me of stealing them I think is a bit unfair. However, I do have sympathy for anyone who has their original content taken by others. In that spirit I have posted the comparison image above to make it clear the similarities and differences of the two. If I am contacted by the artist(s) behind painterly OR the Admin(s) of this website, I will make changes to my texture pack. Until such time I will leave it to the users of my texture packs to decide for themselves if I am a thief as you seem to strongly imply.
