I have a grass block texture for the top and for the sides, both have identical color tones. When I loaded the game, the top of the grass is significantly darker in color than the sides, despite the textures in the terrain.png matching perfectly.
I figured the foliage and grass color triangle thingies (whatever they're called) were causing the coloration, so I made them completely transparent. Still, the effect lingers. Is there anything else that would cause such a discrepancy?

what about the grass overlays in the top middle of the terrain.png? honestly the dirt w/grass block should be the only one with color. the main grass block should be grey scale along with the overlays...and controlled by the grasscolor.png.
