Ok so i got a new texture pack from the painterley pack or something like that and i can not use it. For some reason the stupid .jar is not showing up in the minecraft file. I dont know what to do. And yes I downloaded the jar from the site.

1. Jar? It should be a .zip or a .rar
2. Put it in your .minecraft/texturepacks folder.

A texture pack doesnt need a Jar File... And Painterly Pack is 16 bit version so it doesnt need any mod like HD Textures... http://painterlypack.net/
