Okay so every so often, what I'll do is delete all the texture packs from my folder and go on what I call a "Texture pack downloading spree" and download all the texture packs I think look nice.
The only problem is, I am pretty picky when it comes to texture packs, and my eyes tire of them quickly.
I need help because not only am I picky, but I'm also very determined and tend to get frustrated when I don't find what I'm looking for, and I refuse to stop my search until I find a good pack.
to help you help me on my search, here are a list of Turnoffs when it comes to texture packs, and another list of things I look for.
Texture pack Turnoffs:
• Colors that are too pastel and don't look natural (e.g, purple stone or bluish green grass)
• Colors that are too bright and make my eyes hurt.
• Gloomy colors that have an overall sad vibe (I'm an optimist.)
• Texture packs that makes certain ores look like other ores (e.g, iron that looks like diamond or diamond that looks like lapis, I see those a lot.)
• Packs that are too realistic (i.e, anything over 16x16 resolution, lol)
Things I look for in a Texture pack:
• Uniqueness (That means it has to be completely unique! Not another simple pack or a copy of painterly!)
• A happy vibe, I don't want a texture pack that will make me feel sad.
• Something in-between simple and realistic. So nothing too fancy and nothing too simple.
• I need to be able to tell which blocks are which; I haven't memorized the order of Texture pack test track, I want to be able to tell the difference between cobble and stone.
• 16x16, my laptop doesn't do well with HD packs.
Thanks for taking the time to read this, I appreciate any help. C:
have you tried the inspiration texturepack, if not it is awesome just go to google and type in inpiration texturepack and it should be the first option on the first page, dont try the forums because i cant seem to find it on here so just use google. its not n HD texture and its (32x) but it looks cool the redstone and everything.

I love those packs, unfortunately I have a laptop that tends to lag with HD textures. Thanks for the help though c:
32x is a HD texture pack. HD constitutes anything higher than 16x.
But 32x32 is easily Johnsmith.
aw gees
Oh well, mine is a Soul Eater pack, if you're interested.
