1.Find the texturepack you wish to use with this
2.Open the texturepack arcive with whatever program you prefer using to do so
3.Locate the "mobs" folder within said texture pack.
4.scroll down if needed until you see "wolf.png", "Wolf_angry.png", and "wolf_tame.png"
5.You will notice that these names are the same as the ones in the texturepack. Replace these files with the ones provided in this download.
6.Open Minecraft and go find some hounds
To install without a texturepack
1.Locate the ".minecraft" folder in appdata
2.Open up the "bin" folder
3.Open the archive of "minecraft.jar" with your prefered archiving program
4.open the "mobs" folder
5.scroll down if needed until you see "wolf.png", "Wolf_angry.png", and "wolf_tame.png"
6.You will notice that these names are the same as the ones in the texturepack. Replace these files with the ones provided in this download.
7.Open Minecraft and go find some hounds
You can now tell these hounds to fetch the souls of your enemies instead of your own!
These furry demon dogs can now roam around your Minecraft word. With no disembodied voice
to command them you can befriend them and have them fight for you.
Sorry for the lack of flames.
Haven't gotten pictures for angry or neutral yet. The only difference is no collar and eye color.
Angry-Red
Neutral-Redish Orange
Tame-Yellow
You should put a better tutorial for using these... Instead of just replacing the old wolf, say to unzip your favorite texture pack, go to the mobs folder, delete the old (or put it some where else) wolf and place this new one in. Then, highlight all the folders and pictures, right click and choose "Add to archive" then click the zip option instead of rar. Then just place the zipped file into your minecraft texture pack folder and there you go. Maybe that is a lot to explain... Any way, good job with it and good luck. :tongue.gif:
I would really appreciate pictures that I don't have to download.
I'm not sure why you do, you should see them. I've embedded them into the code of the post.
if there is a better way please share so I can make it more convenient for you guys.

I'm making a texture pack: (16x) Silent Night
Well, I wasn't really sure where to put it. I thought this was the best spot. I couldn't find
anywhere else.
