Wonder if it is possible for you to make texture patch for millenaire mod? I really love your style!!!!!!!
Thanks. I'm too busy maintaining and updating the pack to support mods for the time being, BTW I would probably only support mods I use i.e only MCpatcher right now.
Speaking of updates, I'm probably releasing 1.7.3 this weekend with support for 1.7 snapshots (new flowers, stained glass etc.).
Stained glass. It's frameless and more opaque than vanilla because it better fits my taste, but I'm open to critique and suggestions and I may add alternatives if people ask for it.
Packed ice and red sand; I'm not completely satisfied with the packed ice, consider it a placeholder.
Added new fishes.
Tweaks:
Hardened clay now looks like stained hardened clay so it looks more natural in the new Mesa biome.
Stained hardened clay are much more reddish in color than before so that Mesas looks more realistic; this sucks for building and pixel art but I'm working on alternate versions.
Made zombies a little more zombesque.
Reworked biome colors yet another time to take advantage of the new system so that now grass and leaves have subtle random variations and change with altitude.
Different trees have now different cross section texture; nothing fancy right now, just a more consistent coloration.
Better shading for tall grass.
Lowered spruce log's rounding shadow so it looks better when used for large Roofed Forest trees.
Reverted some WIP texture that were included in 1.7.2 by mistake, notably ender chest, ender dragon and slime.
Cooked fish has a new texture.
Slightly redesigned lily pads.
MCPatcher only:
Custom, more realistic colors in swamps.
More realistic color for lily pads.
Known caveats:
Thanks to Mojang reworking transparencies, rain is now invisible. It's a bug, there's nothing I can do about it.
Double tall grass and ferns use two different colors for top and bottom; this is bug too.
I am not quite sure if i just didn't see it, but have u released the pixel reality luminance for 1.7?
It's not needed since nothing changed about lighting so it's compatible with 1.7. I'm gonna release a new version with some fixes soon, but until then you can use the current version.
For the luminance one, how do i install it too my own texture pack?
You don't have to. Assuming you're using Minecraft 1.7 you just have to install both your own pack and Luminance, then move Luminance on top so it "overwrites" the lightmaps while keeping your own blocks etc.
Acacia and Old Oak logs, leaves, saplings and wood planks.
Now all tree types get their own cross section texture.
Updated the GUI: streaming icons, achievements, MC Realms title etc.
Added some missing items: Name Tag and Spider Eye.
Finally added the Wither boss!
Also, a new explosion animation!
This update introduce a new alternative pack series: Addendum! They're small packs you should put on top of Pixel Reality if you want alternative versions of some textures (check "Alternatives" in the OP). Beginning with adobe-like hardened clay and framed stained glass. Open the zip and follow the instructions in the READ ME.txt file.
Tweaks:
Slightly darker dead bushes, lighter water lilies, better shading on tall grass.
Made rain temporarily less transparent to fix it being invisible after 1.7; it looks bad and I'll revert the changes as soon as the issue get addressed by Mojang (if ever ).
Updated Pixel Reality Luminance with many little tweaks and new effects in the Nether, in the End and while under the effect of Night Vision (check "Alternatives" in the OP).
MCPatcher/Optifine only:
Lot of tweaks to lighting, especially noticeable in the Nether, the End and when using Night Vision.
Sugar canes no longer change color depending on biomes.
People screw up lightmaps all the time or they just don't care.
You really know what you are doing. (case in point: shadows)
To be fair towards fellow texture makers, those lightmaps are quite difficult to grasp, it's a complicated, time consuming trial & error procedure that took me 2 weeks of hard work and still needs some finishing touches, no wonder most texture makers just replicate Misa's lightmaps or don't give a damn.
Very nice, the only thing that bugs me is that the stone seems a little too dark. :/
You're not the first to ask for lighter stone so I'm giving it a try:
Better? If so I'll make one more Addendum pack with lighter stone (including cobble, bricks, furnaces etc.).
