After trying tons of texture packs and none of them getting everything just how I like it, I've decided to attempt to create my own texture pack!!! I have zero experience in making textures of anything so this will be a learning experience for me, and I will strive to do my best. This is a 32x32 texture pack, SO YOU WILL NEED TO PATCH YOUR GAME, YA HEAR ME!!! A lot has been accomplished today. I have a new, large batch of pictures with the new textures I have done today, and edited ones from yesterday. I asked a friend what color I should make the chests and he said black, so I made them dark although i'm not really sure I like them a lot.
The wool blocks, diamond block, iron block, gold block, tall grass, side grass, and the bookshelves are from JohnSmith's texture pack, because they are just exactly how I wanted them. Go check him out!
I don't have a download yet because a lot of the textures are still not complete, so at this point I am just wanting feedback. Don't just say "hurr durr it looks bad" please respond with full sentences. Thanks for looking!
Yeah in the last sentence before the pics I was talkin about tha problem with the side grass and lines, it has already been fixed and thanks for the feedback :biggrin.gif:
Looks decent, i like the ores, though the color splotches look just a touch flat, also the stone might look odd over large areas, hard to be sure from those pics. And I'm sure Derpy would approve if muffins are involved.
Add more shading to the ores themselves and around them to make them stand out and give them shape. Good luck. Also, as stated before the stone has a tiling issue with there being a bright line on one side repeating.

You need permission from John smith to use his textures. And you shouldn't have them displayed in your wall of blocks as if they were your own. :sad.gif:
Dude you stole half of the block textures from the John Smith texture pack. You're never gonna get anywhere without originality. But anyways I like the pack. I'm using it right now. :biggrin.gif:
