I have a question relating to texture packs. I currently use a Painterly Pack and have a bit of lag that goes with it. I was wondering if putting the texture pack files directly into the minecraft.jar would make the game load them faster, or will it really not matter either way?
Oh, okay. Thanks for the info guys! I am beginning to think that the texture issues I have been having are the result of Optifine. I'm going to see if they can offer any help.
