I am posting here for two reasons. First, for a bump because this pack is great and needs to stay on the first page.
Second, to inform you about a new policy enacted by the administration of these forums. The announcement is at the top of the texture pack forum and will directly effect you and your work. I hope you have time to read it. Also, if you are interested, there is a spirited discussion going on in a thread that has stayed near the top of the list since it started.

Normally I'm not exactly a fan of high-res textures, but I absolutely love the theming on this one. It's a lot like the art direction in Kirby's Epic Yarn, which can only be a good thing.
Cool. Makes me think of Kirby's epic yarn. And the sun is a button. Makes me think of the movie Coraline
The moon is a button as well. Even more Coraline. I had the pleasure of listening to some of the lead animators at Laika (the company that created Coraline) and was able to see some of the sets and characters. :biggrin.gif:

Okay, now that I've had a chance to check it out here's my short review:
First and foremost, the textures all look really good, despite having a fabric theme that could have very easily looked terrible in-game.
Secondly, everything about this pack is so original and creative. I especially adore the cutting scissors breaking animation and the bolts of cloth for bookshelves. I really want to make a house with those shelves. ^^
My one and only beef with this pack would be the texture for the planks. It's just too smooth and uniform-- nothing about it says 'wood'. I actually thought my house looked like it was made out of sand. Perhaps have several parallel lines of stitches to suggest wood planks?
Overall, fantastic job. This pack deserves to be on the front page more often.
I'll think about changing a planks textures, it has a two parallel stiches from the start, but wooden stairs with that look bad so I just cleared them. :smile.gif:
Thanks for all your critics and suggestions. That helps to make my pack better.
I am working on first update btw which includes mob skins and some small improvements.
Please, do keep working on the HD version. I'll probably never get it to work on my computer, but I'll always be supporting it. Keep focusing on the HD. Please. :smile.gif:
As you are obviously good at woolen textures, do you think you could give me some tips on making such textures? I need to make wool with a well-tiled stitching pattern (like the stitching on this building.
Thanks in advance, and awesome pack!
