I don't really care if there is simple texture packs, just as long as they look good. You can make things simple and good, but I HATE when they just put a solid color for everything... Oh well. :tongue.gif:

Agreed. When I first tried to make a texture pack, I realized i made it a simple pack. An easy solution to this was for me to add noise. If you accidentally made a simple pack, try adding some noise. It will look AT LEAST 10% better. Now, i'm not saying that everything will be better if you use noise, but it should help. You still need to put some effort into the pack.
Agreed. Simple packs a bad. Very. But I'm also thinking the same about higher resolutions. Not that I don't like them, but sooner or later, the texture pack section will be filled with bad simple packs, and too detailed HD packs that some people can't handle, and there will be very little 16x, which I think are the best when effort is put into them.
Also, people are beginning to just re-use ideas, there are very little original texture packs.

Unfortunately...I doubt it. There will probably be just as many as before, taking up space from those who really worked on their art.
