Yes, I am familiar with RPG texture packs such as Doku.. but I am making my first Texture pack aiming it to be called a RPG texture pack. So what EXACTLY is and RPG texture pack?
If you don't know what the RPG theme is about, why would you attempt to make a pack with that theme? Unless you just want a better understanding of it...Which in that case:
- Medieval, primitive items/blocks
- Relatively "dark" (Not necessarily dark textures, but it should have an overall gloomy/medieval feel to it)
- Possible inspiration from other RPG games (Like how Doku's first pack was heavily inspired by Link to the Past, even though it's not an RPG, but still).
These are pretty much all of the texture pack themes most people go by:
- RPG/Medieval
- Simple/Clean (The worst IMO)
- "Enhanced" Default Textures
- Futuristic
- Realistic
- Novelty (Packs like CandyCraft, the Steampunk pack, etc.)
- Fan-updates/"Inspired by" packs (Packs like SummerFields, my GeruDoku fan update, etc.)
