Ok, I updated the pack without the fern texture, as I've made some significant changes, and I want people to have the latest version. :tongue.gif:
- New birch leaf overlay. Matches the sapling/default textures more.
- Tweaked oak and pine saplings a bit.
- New bookcase and ice texture.
- Fixed up enchanting and creative mode GUI.
- New bonemeal, slime, diamond and gold tool textures.
- Re-added the original lava.
- Added TooManyItems GUI.
- Polished chest textures (Fixed outlines, shading, and tiling).
- Added a few Randomobs textures. Boar alt for pigs, ducks for chickens, and original blue slime for slimes.
- Home furnishing paintings from lithiumsound's texture pack, SummerFields!
- No Aether textures. I got lazy and never started the item textures. I've included what I have done with the blocks though.
i love this, but, it might be me, when i look at pumpkins, parts of it are replaced by the lava and water, the normal ones, and the nether looks like its also normal water, although it might be my fault, please tell me i love this pack

You need to use the MCPatcher for any texture packs 32x and up.
- New gravel. I'm more of a fan of the "stone in dirt" type gravel, so I changed it to look like that.
- New swamp water (Bit more purple and saturated).
- New jungle leaf texture.
- New title screen panorama.
- New diamond, gold, and iron armor.
- Changed up the stemcolor.png a bit.
- Tweaked foliage/grasscolor.png, biomes are now a bit more distinguishable (Plains biomes look really awesome now too. :biggrin.gif:)
- Moved alternate terrain textures to altterrain.png.
- Tweaked the hunger and hardcore health icons a bit.
- Polised creative mode and TooManyItems GUI.
- Tweaked diamond tools a bit.
- Tweaked the potion textures.
- New magma cream texture.
- Redid the achievement GUI, added statistics GUI.
- New fern texture I made. Turned out pretty good IMO. There's an alternate one with only the one big fern in altterrain.png.
- New Blaze and Magma Cube textures thanks to Tyken132.
- Added 14 mob alts for Randomobs.
- Added support for the Dehydration mod.
Bumping this so you guys can see the latest updates I made. I've just been editing my last post, but it doesn't really get seen when the post is old. Anyway, just check the post right above this one for the changes/updates.
I like it how it is, although I've been thinking of changing it to Link's outfit (Link from TLoZ series that is).
Also, I've added support for SeasonCraftory (I'll be adding full support for the whole RuneCraftory pack eventually), as well as the Twilight Forest mod:
All the blocks from the Twilight Forest mod are complete, as well as a few of the mobs (Swarm/Hedge Spider, Druid/Witch Skeleton, Boar, and Ram).
Awesome pack! Almost makes continuing work on mine seem pointless :\
Thanks! And why would continuing yours be pointless? You have the most unique textures out of any GeruDoku fan update (Although your pack is more of its own pack rather than a fan update).
EDIT: Guys...This is the most amazing mod I've ever seen:
It's the Better Leaves and Grass Mod that someone updated, and this is just gorgeous. The tall grass is just so nice, and the leaves in the mod look pretty cool as well. I've added support as you can see, and it's in the download in the first post.
I've also changed some biome coloring a bit. Jungles are now more like tropical rainforests, with bright green grass/foliage, and tropical looking sky/fog colors. I did this mainly to make the jungle biome less similar to the plains biome (They each had very close coloring), and I'd rather the plains biome to stay how it was.
Also made the clay orange/red. Not a fan of blue/grey clay, so I figured why not. Also attempted doing new lava animations, and they turned out really nice IMO.
- Darkened gravel a bit
- Changed the tall grass to a shorter one, with a bit less saturation
- Darkened/desaturated nether brick a little bit.
- Made desert water sort of a murky, sandy colored water
- Made taiga/tundra water a cold, dark blue
- Tweaked grass/foliagecolor.png a bit for the desert grass
- Tweaked fermented spider eye and glass bottles
- Changed clay ball item to match terrain texture
- New nether wart seed texture
- Added support for Risugami's Elemental Arrows mod
- Changed up the color of mycelium, and made the tiny flowers look "sunken in"
- Added leaves to the mossy stone brick texture to make it more live ivy is growing on it
- A few new Randomobs textures
- Fixed the side-grass texture. There were a few pixels missing near the bottom of the grass.
- Changed up the grass/foliage color for taiga/tundra biomes. They now have an autumn-like brown color to be sort of like dead grass.
- Updated support for the Dehydration mod (Fixed up the bottles to go with the new ones)
- Added Hylian font for the enchanting table "rune" particles (The ones that fly out of the bookshelves) courtesy of SqueegeeLuigi999.
^ Thanks! Means a lot coming from the creator of an amazing mod. :biggrin.gif:
Anyways, made some slight updates today:
- Added support for the Thirst Mod.
- Tweaked some biome stuff a tiny bit.
- Made new language button icons
- Fixed up the statistics GUI a bit (New crafted/used icons, larger slots).
- Added a new dragon egg and book (For the enchanting table) texture. Credit to Krayoon for those (Saw them in the RPG Texture Thread as free-to-use).
- Added the dark green grass/foliage color back to taiga biomes (Tundras still have the brownish color).
- Changed the glint for enchanted items/potions/gold apple.
- The stuff in the last update post I made that I edited in.
Wow, really great continuation of the gerudoku pack! I really love your dedication to maintaining the 'feel' to this pack, something I rarely find in other continuation attempts. Keep up the great work! :biggrin.gif:
There are some problems in 12w06a: Pumpkin, Clock, Compass, Jack-o-Lantern and all bricks stuff aren't working properly. Compass and clock aren't showing that they should show (for real, they show nothing )) ). Other things are the mix of lava, water and smth. else.
(sorry for my english, if there are some mistakes)

You need to use the MCPatcher for any texture pack 32x and above, as it fixes broken textures, and allows for custom water/lava, custom coloring for certain things (Which this pack has), etc.

- Added support for the HappyCampers mod.

- Tweaked the bookshelf again.
- Added redstone lamp texture (The glowstone texture I was using is now for the lamp, and the old glowstone is the glowstone texture now).

Curse PremiumThanks! No, I'm not going to make a 64x version, or any other resolution.
And yes, I'll continue to update this as long as Minecraft does. :biggrin.gif:
